TTM Worker Workshop
For people starting out in the temporary Traffic Management Industry, their journey begins with the TTM Worker Workshop.
This one-day introductory session starts with theory in the morning, followed by hands-on practical tasks at a live TTM site in the afternoon.
Ideal for those new to TTM, this workshop is a must before advancing to the TMO (Traffic Management Operative) Non-Practicing Workshop (previously known as TC).

Workshop Overview
In the morning, delve into a theory workshop covering Unit Standard 31958. Then, in the afternoon, apply your knowledge through protected environment and live site assessments, completing the TTM Worker Unit Standard. Join us for a comprehensive learning experience that equips you with essential skills for a successful start in the Traffic Management field.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this session, TTM Workers will gain:
A clear understanding of their role and responsibilities
Knowledge of the appropriate PPE for a worksite
Awareness of no-go zones within a worksite
Familiarity with the structure for a TTM worksite
Awareness of prevalent hazards and risks linked to traffic management.
Basic Knowledge about the Traffic Management Plan (TMP)
Additionally, TTM Workers will acquire essential skills, including:
Manual handling/lifting of TTM equipment
Proficiency in setting out TTM equipment
Competence in using a Stop/Go paddle
Proficient use of radio communications
Ability to act as a 'spotter'
Effective interaction with people, demonstrating both good and bad practices, and conflict resolution skills.
