This one-day workshop is designed for individuals who need to renew their current or recently expired STMS qualification. This workshop will provided the trainee with a non-practicing Qualification for both category A & B Road environments.
Workshop Overview
Category A: Roads with speeds of 60km/h and less·
Category B: Roads with speeds of 70km/h and greater
This workshop is a crucial step in the renewal process, constituting a non-practising qualification. Consequently, if the trainee's previous qualification has expired or is set to expire before obtaining a practicing Qualification, they are not authorized to operate on the road as an STMS immediately.
To advance to a practicing qualification, the next step involves completing the STMS Cat A & B practising assessment.

Understand the Evolving Responsibilities of STMS, TMO/TC Roles, and Key Changes
Familiarize Yourself with the Roles of Traffic Management Operative (TMO) and STMS Mobile Operations (STMS (M))

Summarize Changes and Reinforce Understanding of CoPTTM
Engage in Open-Book Assessments Utilizing CoPTTM
Who should attend
Ideal for individuals seeking to refresh their current STMS / STMS Cat A/B qualification.
Applicable industries include Civil Contractors, Consultants, Developers, Surveyors, Project Managers, Engineers, Event Teams, Construction Supervisors, Utility Operators, and anyone involved in TTM planning and decision-making.
Pre-requisites
Attendees must hold a current STMS Cat A and B Qualification (or Qualification expired no longer than one year) to participate in this workshop.
OR
Individuals with a current STMS Level 1 and/or Level 2/3 P/NP Qualification (or Qualification expired no longer than one year) are eligible for attendance.
If your STMS Qualification has been expired for more than one year, you will need to complete the STMS Cat A and B workshop again.
